Oklahoma Police said in a statement that at a home in Muskogee, a city of just under 40,000 people about 45 miles southeast of Tulsa officers responded about 1:30 a.m. to a call of multiple people shot.
According to the statement, officers encountered a person with a gun there. The suspect ran from the scene but was later taken into custody after an officer shot at the suspect and missed it.

She said that the authorities believe no other involvement of any other suspects but they don’t have the motive yet.
Hamlin said that they don’t believe the crime to be random but they just don’t have the details yet of what or why happened. She said that a woman was also taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The name of the person arrested or any additional details about the people who died have not yet been released by the authorities.
