The “Matrix 4” Latest Update With Cast and Release Date Everything You Need To Know

The fourth installment of The Matrix franchise named The Matrix 4 which is an American science fiction action film is releasing soon. This movie is directed, produced, and co-written by the same person who co-wrote the three previous movies of this franchise along with Lilly Wachowski whose name is Lana Wachowski. From the previous series Daniel Bernhardt, Keanu Reeves, Jada Pinkett Smith, and the other lead characters renewed their roles. This movie is going to get released by Warner Bros along with the joint production of Silver Pictures, Village Roadshow Pictures, and Wachowskis Productions. The movie is going to get released at the end of this year on the 22nd of December. For at least a month starting on that same date, the movie will get streamed digitally on HBO Max in the US. Neither the director nor the cast members have revealed anything about the plot and we also have no idea what the plot might possibly be because The Matrix 3 was ended in such a way that it looked impossible for any other sequence for the franchise.

The shooting of the movie was started on 4th February 2020 in San Francisco under the code name “Project Ice Cream”. During filming in San Francisco, a bit of damage was caused to buildings and street lights which caused some irritating among city workers and citizens. However, due to the outbreak of the covid 19 pandemic, the shooting of the movie was stopped on 16th March 2020 but it restarted on 16th of August 2020 which was confirmed by Keanu Reeves. Along with John Wick: Chapter 4, this movie was also set to release on 21st May 2021 initially. But due to the covid 19 pandemic, the film was extended to release on 1st April 2022 but eventually was moved up to 22nd December 2021.
